Biography

"I am a licensed psychologist in New York State (US) and have specialized in treating and evaluating a wide range of psychological, psychiatric, developmental, and educational difficulties for the past 17 years. I earned doctoral and master's degrees in clinical psychology from Yale University after graduating Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree from Brandeis University. I taught at Yale University and was an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at New York Medical College, supervising medical students. In my work in hospitals, clinics, and private practice, I have treated and evaluated the full range of psychological difficulties experienced by children, adolescents, and adults. As a therapist, I specialize in childhood anxiety. My expertise is in identifying a client’s strengths and abilities and helping the client to use them to cope with and overcome difficulties in order to become more content with life. I conduct individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as parent counseling. As an evaluator, I use the most up-to-date tests and assessment techniques. Using information obtained from the evaluation, along with my expertise, I develop an in-depth understanding of the client’s difficulties and make recommendations that can solve problems and result in improved psychological and educational functioning."
