Biography
Dr. Ajang Armin Farid (DDS) was born in Vienna (Austria) and moved to Hungary to study dentistry in 1989 at the Semmelweis Medical University. After his graduation he worked in several clinics until he opened with his wife, Dr. Parvaneh Farid, Avicenna Medical and Dental clinics. Dr. Ajang Farid is recommended by several Embassies in Budapest (United Kingdom, United States, Austria, Germany) and treats a great number of Budapest’s ex-pat community. Next to his work as a general dentist, Dr. Farid is also specialized in Forensic Dentistry and as such serves the Ministry of Justice in Hungary. He received his training in the United States at the American Armed Forces Institute of Pathology, and The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. In this capacity he also gives lectures to dental and medical students at the Semmelweis Medical University in Budapest on the role of Forensic Dentistry in Mass Disaster Victim Identification and Crime Scene Investigation. Dr. Farid also works with the Hungarian Police in training of bite mark analysis in crimes. As a member of the International Bahá’í Community Dr. Farid is involved in several humanitarian and social service activities.
