Biography

Zoltán Györkő, Co-founder of the company, was named CEO of Balabit on 1 September 2012. He has been a member of the board since the company was founded in 2000. Zoltán has extensive leadership experience and a deep knowledge of the IT security market, and was previously responsible for developing Balabit’s global partner network as well as the sales and marketing organization. Today Balabit is active in 40 countries through its 100 partners and has representatives in 8 countries. Zoltán received the Emerging Entrepreneur Award from E&Y in 2014 for leading one of the most successful and dynamically growing companies in Eastern Europe. The same year he was named the Info-communications Manager of the Year (Tibor Gyurós Prize). Zoltán studied computer engineering at University of Pannonia, Veszprém.
