Biography

I am an entrepreneur, a technology leader and product development professional with widespread knowledge in the medical device regulatory environment, implantable spinal systems design, research & development, manufacturing and product launches. I have developed 15+ general, orthopedic and spine surgery related inventions with 6 issued U.S. patents and several pending patent applications including a recently launched minimally invasive, revolutionary, non-disengaging, set screw-less interspinous fusion system (the ZIP™ MIS) for spinal fusion and other surgical and non-surgical applications. 

Research Interest

My goal is to build businesses for the healthcare market to fully utilize my skills for the benefit of patients and provide superior implantable devices to end users worldwide while continuously improving standard care for patients in need. I am thankful to work with anyone who is in the field for the true love of their profession and the passion for creating new healthcare technologies for easing patient lives. I have the ability with laser focus to build successful companies with unique medical product offering and to build effective teams to find the right solution for any challenge.
