Zsolt Törcsvári

Biography

I graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Kossuth Lajos University. In 1994 I became a candidate for economics. In Russian, I have an elementary state exam in German. From 1985 onwards I taught Mathematics, Physics, Technique, Electrotechnics, Communications Engineering and Telex Technical Studies at the Post-Secondary Vocational Secondary School in Fazesabony. I was a computer science specialist, and I was also a foster teacher at the secondary school dormitory. In 1986, I conducted a mathematical analysis exercise at the Eger Teacher Training College. From February 1988 until February 2013 I worked in Higher Education in Gyöngyös, from 2008 as a college teacher. I became involved in scientific work since 1989. By developing the data collection and processing software and the methodological background, I helped the OTKA application led by Dr. Magda Sándor. Main subjects and subjects taught: computer science, mathematics, surveying, statistics, maths, writing and presentation skills in daytime, correspondence and distance learning. In my master's degree I was the subject of the Research Methodology, Analysis Methodology, Social Economic Predictions. I also participated in preparing the notes of the subjects belonging to the department. In the framework of a joint research project with the Yena College, I studied the students' secondary level knowledge level and the possibilities of eliminating the deficiencies. From 1989 onwards, I was the Head of the Recruitment Preparation Committee for ten years. From 2001 to December 2003, Director of the Distance Learning Center, Chair of the Study Committee of the Distance Learning Section. From January 2004 until 2006 she is a member of the College's Board of Appeal, Secretary of the Quality Control Committee, Chair of the Study Committee on all three courses. At the Faculty of Economics, I worked as Chairman of the Education and Quality Committee of the Kari for several years, until the faculty disappeared. From 2002 to 2006, I worked as Chairman of the Finance Committee at the Gyöngyöshalász Municipal Assembly, when a project involving several hundred million applications was implemented in the village. From February 2013 I work at the BGF KVIK department at the MITO department. I am involved in the teaching of mathematics, statistics and information technology subjects. I am a member of the Agro-Economics Working Committee of the Agricultural Committee of the Miskolc Academy Committee (MAB). Since 2005, the Statistical Division of the Hungarian Statistical Association. In 2007 he was elected as a member of the department's board of directors. The IX. I have been involved in the work of the Commission as a member of the Committee on Statistics. I am married, my children: GergÅ‘ (1992), Zsombor (1996), Csenge (1999). My hobbies are family, teaching, music (singing, piano), poems, dance, sports (running, swimming, puppetry, kettlebell), conversation with students.

Research Interest

In general, I helped my colleagues and students in various fields of expertise to help me with my methodological knowledge, so I can meet with my publications in a wide variety of areas. Many of my students have had a great success with their thesis. I always like to deal with interested students.
