Biography

Anna Somfai is currently a Professor in the department of Medieval Studies, Central European University, Hungary. She completed MPhil, University of Cambridge, 1992 and PhD, University of Cambridge, 1998. She worked on a Project Visual Thinking and Diagrammatic Images in Medieval Manuscripts.

Research Interest

Late Antique and Medieval Philosophy, Late Antique and Medieval Science, Late Antique Studies, Medieval Manuscript Studies, Palaeography (Latin, Greek).
