Biography
Csaba Pléh has a degree in psychology and in linguistics as well. He is a full member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2004 (corresponding from 1998). His long time research interests are or were Hungarian psycholinguistics, history of psychology, cognitive science, relationships between language and cognition, developmental disorders. Beside being on the editorial board of several journals, He was Editor in chief of Hungarian Review of Psychology (1997-2015). Between 1998 and 2001 He was president of the Hungarian Philosophical Association.He has been a fellow to Collegium Budapest, the Center for Advanced Studies in the Behavioral Sciences, Stanford, and Collegium de Lyon. In 1991-1992 and in 2004/05 HE was the György Ránki Hungarian chair, at Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana. He has published a dozen books and over 500 articles.
