Biography
Dr. Large was research director of the Africa-Asia Centre, Royal African Society at the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS). He has been a research associate with the South African Institute of International Affairs, a visiting researcher at the Danish Institute of International Studies, a visiting lecturer at the Centre Européen de Recherches Internationales et Stratégiques, Brussels, and project director of the Rift Valley institute’s digital Sudan Open Archive (www.sudanarchive.net). He has also worked for or consulted with a variety of international organizations.
