Biography
Eszter Polgári is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Legal Studies. Her primary research area is the jurisprudence of the European Court of Human Rights, in particular the methods and doctrines of interpretation and the case-law on the right to respect for private and family life and non-discrimination. She is also interested in the development of LGBT rights both on the national and international level. She received an LLB and a PhD from the Eötvös Loránd University of Sciences (Budapest). She holds an LL.M in Human Rights from the Central European University and an MA in Human Rights and Democratization from the European Inter-University Center.
