Biography
Francisca de Haan is currently a Professor in the department of Gender Studies, Central European University, Hungary. She completed M.A. in History, University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, 1985, Ph.D., Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands, 1992 and Dr. habil, History, Central European University, 2016.

Modern European Women's and Gender History; Modern Political History; Transnational History; Inter/transnational Women’s Movements, 19th and 20th Centuries; Communism and Women from a Global Perspective; Gender and the Cold War; Women's Archives.
