Biography
Ildiko Moran has been Vice President for External Relations since 2004. She joined CEU in 1996, first as director of publications, special events and public affairs. Ildiko has worked in the field of marketing and communications internationally. For Canadian computer company Nabu, she closed the first successful sale of Canadian high technology to the PRC. She was a director of the marketing company, Nova Palm, which launched the first English language magazine of architecture, Arch, and the first English language magazine for business women, in Hong Kong and Taiwan. Nova Palm also operated as a major events organizer, with clients including the Hong Kong Ballet, Hyatt International Resorts (Macau), and Goldman Sachs (Singapore). After opening a branch of Nova Palm in Budapest, Ildiko completed two marketing portfolios for the Hungarian government (1995 and 1996). The company also produced a guidebook for the emerging tourism sector in Hungary. Ildiko is a graduate of the University of Toronto, with a major in English Language and Literature.
