Biography
Uwe Puetter is Professor of European Public Policy and Governance at the School of Public Policy (SPP) and Director of the Center for European Union Research (CEUR) at the Central European University (CEU), Budapest. He also holds the Jean Monnet Chair in European Public Policy and Governance awarded by the European Commission and is a member of the Executive Board of the FP7 research consortium 'bEUcitizen'. From 2006 to 2008 Uwe Puetter served as first Head of CEU's Department of Public Policy, the predecessor of SPP. Originally he had joined CEU in September 2004 as an Assistant Professor of the then newly created Master's Program in Public Policy (MPP). In the context of the MA and PhD degree programs he is teaching courses on European integration, comparative politics and socio-economic governance.
