András Fülöp

Biography

András joined Deloitte in 1994 as an intern. He is currently Country Managing Partner of Deloitte Hungary and the Partner-in-Charge of the FSI group in Central Europe. He has led a number of successful M&A advisory engagements in Hungary and in the region, primarily in the banking sector. His most notable accomplishments include the Erste Group's acquisition of Postabank and the Montenegrin bank Opportunity Bank, providing support to OTP's regional expansion, and MKB Bank's regional expansion and its subsequent sale. He has been involved in over 30 successfully completed transactions. Deloitte Hungary's financial services industry group has become a market leader under András' leadership and, in recognition of this achievement, András was appointed as the Partner-in-Charge of the FSI group in Central Europe in 2015. He has tripled the size of Deloitte's advisory service line over the past four years and added a wide range of advisory services to complement the previously dominant area of transaction advisory.
