Biography
Dr. Kai Grunert is a Managing Partner and directs Detecon’s European activities. An acknowledged telecommunications expert, one of the primary focal points of his work relates to the advising and guidance of telecommunications service providers and large industrial companies in all aspects of digital transformation. Besides strategic issues, this includes consultations in the environment of the latest network technologies, especially in access and transport networks. He completed his studies in Munich with the German Diplom (Dipl.-Ing. univ.) in engineering, then earned his doctorate in engineering in Berlin. He has held a position as lecturer on IP transport networks at the TU Berlin for more than 15 years.
