Gabor Forrai

Biography

Gábor Forrai, MD, PhD has been working as Head of Radiology Department at the Defence Forces Hospital/Teaching Hospital University Semmelweis in Budapest, Hungary, for 7 years, employing over 40 radiologists in three different physical locations, and managing one of the best equipped public units in the country. Previously, (2005 - 2011) he has been the Secretary General of the College of Radiology (the advisory board for the Minister of Health), Hungary and thus is well informed about healthcare financing rules, regulations, human resource information and trends. Dr. Forrai has been doing his private business in breast screening and other areas and did work for some other private units. He has been lecturing and teaching all over Europe and Latin America on issues such as new diagnostic machines, medical procedures and tools as well as about evidence-based professional healthcare activities. Dr. Forrai has experience working in different European countries such as France and Germany while his focus and detailed knowledge is about the radiology market in Hungary. He is working/consulting in English, French and Hungarian languages.
