KATALIN BORBÁLA VÁRDI is the Chief medical director of Department of Respiratory Rehabilitation and Chronic Diseases of the Pulmonary Institute in　Törökbálint, leader of the sleep disorders laboratory, secretary of the Hungarian Society of Sleep Diagnostics and Therapy, member of the European Society of Pulmonology, and leading member of the Hungarian Society of Pulmonologists. MAJOR SPECIALTY: Primarily home artificial ventilation, dependent non-invasive ventilation in case of chronic respiratory, neuromuscular and other rare diseases, regional rehabilitation after lung and thoracic surgeries, physiotherapy, dietary, psychotherapeutic treatment options of chronic respiratory diseases, complex rehabilitation and prevention of COPD and other pulmonary diseases, sleep-associated respiratory disorders, rehabilitation options in connection with obesity, sleep disorders
