Biography

Laszlo HARASZTI has been working as a practicing psychiatrist for more than 30 years. Initially in the National Institute of Psychology and Neurology and later in the Mental hygienic Department of the Sport Hospital, together with Béla Buda Béla. From 1999 he has been the head of the Department of Psychiatry at the Flór Ferenc Hospital of Kistarcsa, where he introduced psychotherapeutic methodology of psychoses. He had been teaching medical communication at Semmelweis University. Besides his three books, several comminucations of him were published in scientific journals. Topics of these reports cover more borderline issues such as: lies, power and the psychological aspect of obesity. He examined jealousy, anxiety disorders and social-psychological background of obesity in scientific depth. His specialty clinic is primarily visited by patients suffering from anxiety, depression anf life-coaching problems.He has been working as a practicing psychiatrist for more than 30 years.
