Biography
In 1985, I graduated from the then Marx Károly University of Economics, a professor of chemistry and economics at the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Subsequently, I was placed in the Department of Food Chemistry and Analytical Department of the National Food and Nutrition Institute, where I initiated food analytical laboratory tests and then joined the research work on lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidants. I participated in the quality assurance system of the Institute's Food Chemistry Laboratory, and I carried out extensive scientific research in these fields. In 1991 I obtained a Ph.D. from the Budapest University of Economics and at the Faculty of Medicine at Semmelweis University in 2001, and in 2007 I graduated from the Faculty of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences at Szent István University. Honorary university professor at the Szent István University in Gödöllő, Budapest Corvinus Egyetem, Budapest. I am a university professor. From 2007 to January 2013, I was Deputy Director-General of OÉTI. From February 1, 2013, I will be at the BGF Department of Commerce, Catering and Tourism and Hospitality Department. My educational activity covers nutrition, food science and food safety.
