Biography
In the Fuel Elements and Reactor Materials Laboratory, the processes in fuel elements and various structural materials used in nuclear reactors are investigated by various methods of material testing, experiments and numerical modeling. The work of the laboratory is primarily related to the VVER-440 reactors used in the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, but several projects address some of the new reactor types and some of the issues of fusion technology. Heating research studies cover normal operating conditions and accident conditions as well as wet and dry temporary storage of spent fuel cartridges:
