Biography
Dr. Láng László is a Vice President of Hungarian Seed Association. He is a Agricultural engineer, agricultural genetic engineer, plant breeder. Since 1978 he has been a member of the MTA ATK Agricultural Institute (formerly MTA MGKI), and since 1994 has been Head of the Crop Division of the Kalászos Gabona. Its field of research is wheat production, including its many sub-areas. He obtained a Ph.D. degree in 1983, a Candidate degree in 1992, a Doctor of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2006. Co-author of 96 certified plant varieties. He reported on his research findings as an author or co-author in 530 scientific journals. Cumulative impact factor 47.3, number of independent citations 519. Adjunct professor at the University of Veszprém Georgikon Faculty of Agriculture and Honorary Professor at the University of Debrecen ATC Agricultural Faculty. Between 2008 and 2012, the Secretary-General of EUCARPIA.
