Biography

I am in scientific research for a long time, and worked in a wide variety of fields, from immunogenetics through cancer research, transplantation immunology, neurology, cardiovascular pharmacology, genomics and bioinformatics, to urology and sexual medicine. Aside the conventional “research biologist" skills I have additional skills and experiences in software/hardware engineering, research instruments and microscope design and building, computer graphics design, etc. Surely it seems a little bit excessive, but there is one common denominator in all: discovering and solving problems. These experiences and the broad background knowledge paired with the logical thinking inherited from the Hungarian language are invaluable tools to recognize hidden connections, analogies and similarities (thinking “outside the box”) and use them to solve challenging problems in any field.
