BARNABAS VIRAG is an executive director at the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (Central Bank of Hungary), responsible for monetary policy, financial stability and lending incentives. He is an economist spe-cialised in finance. He began his professional career at the Ministry of Finance in the economic policy department in 2001. In 2003 he joined the Magyar Nemzeti Bank as an analyst.
