Tivadar Tulassay is a professor in Semmelweis University
Research Interest
The research group aims to provide a molecular-level description of the fibrotic process of chronic diseases both localised to specific cells and affecting the entire person. The researchers primarily examine those common mechanisms that cause chronic deviation bound to the endothelium. They also pay particular attention to epithelial mesenchymal transformation. Translational research areas extend to the study of hypoxic injury, metabolic changes, disease processes affecting the cardiovascular system, and oncological changes
