Mike Mcnamara

Biography

Mike McNamara has been Chief Executive Officer of Flex (NASDAQ:FLEX) since 2006. Prior to his current role, Mr. McNamara served as Flex’s Chief Operating Officer and President of Americas Operations. He joined Flex in 1994, through the company’s acquisition of Relevant Industries, Inc., where he was the President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. McNamara serves on the board of directors of Workday and Flex and is the Chairman of the Board of Elementum. Previously, he held board positions in the automotive industry at Delphi Corporation, in the solar industry with at MEMC (SunEdison) and in the medical industry at TheraSense, which was acquired by Abbott Laboratories. Mr. McNamara is on the advisory board of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University in Beijing and on the Presidential CEO Advisory Board of Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Mr. McNamara regularly lectures at Tsinghua University and previously lectured at both the MIT Sloane School of Management and the MIT Leaders for Manufacturing program. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.
