Biography
Mr. Kalman serves as CEO of N-Gene Inc. since 1997. He is also Deputy Chairman of the Board. Further, he has been managing Director of N-Gene Research Kft., N-Gene Inc.‘s wholly owned subsidiary in Hungary. He has held numerous executive positions in entrepreneurial and large organizations in the medical equipment, biotechnology, consumer products and printing industry. Among them, Mr. Kalman has been a founder and Chairman of Biorex Research and Development Ltd., East Europe’s first venture capital financed high tech research company. Mr. Kalman started his professional carrier as junior officer in the Hungarian Foreign Trade Bank in 1977. He holds a B.Sc. from the Academy for Foreign Trade in Budapest.
