Leslie D. Michelson

Biography

Mr. Michelson co-founded Private Health Management in 2007 and since then has served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. Private Health is retained by financial and professional service firms and high net worth families and individuals to help them obtain the best health care in the world. He is also the founder, Chairman and CEO of Michelson on Medicine, which provides information to people broadly to help them become more effective healthcare consumers. Leslie D. Michelson has more than 20 years of experience as a founder, CEO, investor, advisor and/or director for a portfolio of entrepreneurial health care, technology and real estate companies. At the end of 2006, Mr. Michelson completed a five-year tenure as the Chief Executive Officer of the Prostate Cancer Foundation, the world’s largest source of philanthropic support for prostate cancer research. Mr. Michelson serves as the Lead Independent Director of American Realty Capital Properties, a NASDAQ traded REIT (ARCP) and other companies. Mr. Michelson received his B.A. from The Johns Hopkins University and a J.D. from Yale Law School. He and his wife, Beth, have two daughters and live in Los Angeles.
