Biography
József Farkas is the owner and managing director of Sanatmetal Ltd. Before establishing the company he graduated as a mechanical engineer, later as an engineer of economy. In 1991 he became an active participant of traumatology and orthopaedy when he was the managing director of the predecessor of Sanatmetal Ltd. He was the general director of the American-British-Hungarian owned DePuy-Sanatmetal joint venture company, then since 1999 he has been the managing director of Sanatmetal Ltd. He is a specialist in crisis-management, company and controlling structure development. He is an active participant in Research & Development, innovator of distal intramedullary nailing without applying image intensifier, FLEX-TLT spine system, and owns patents of various implants and instruments.
