Biography
My background is in backend systems, at the scale of 1 - 50 million users. I enjoy coding in Python, Javascript, Java and Scala, and C++ but also have experience with more niche languages like Erlang. Network communication between processes (RPC and message passing) is a topic near and dear to my heart (I have code in Apache Thrift, and am currently working on Unimodel, my own Swagger code generator for python). I'm a big fan of Django, AWS services, and Unix (Linux, OSX, FreeBSD).I enjoy speaking at conferences and writing articles.
