Biography

László HARSÁNYI is working  at Semmelweis University, Faculty of Medicine ,Budapest/Hungary , he is the Chairman of the greatest university clinic on general and oncologic surgery in Hungary since 2011. He  is also the Member of well-known societies and bodies such as Hungarian Medical Chamber 1989- at present Local Ethical Committee - Member 1995-2002; Local Ethical Committee – Chairman 2002- 2009. National Ethical committee – Chairmen, Hungarian Society of Oncology, Hungarian Society of Surgeons , Hungarian Society of Gastroenterology He is  also a member of Hungarian Society of Clinical Nutrition; Executive Committee Hungarian Society of Oncology ,European Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition ,Faculty Member of ESPEN Basic Postgraduate Courses ,Council Member ,ESPEN Guidelines Approval Committee 2004- at present ,European Digestive Surgery , He is also involved in some International associations such as Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary Association (IHPBA) ,Advisory Board of NUTRITION (Syracuse NY/USA) Honorary Member of Romanian Society of Laparoscopic Surgery, Editorial Board Member of METABOLIZMUS (Budapest/H) Honorary Member of Polish Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition .He has Scientific Activities such as publications ,42 book chapters and university lecture notes ,165 papers more than 400 oral presentations and posters
