Biography
Péter Szivós is currently Senior professor of the Institute. Beside managerial duties he steers projects on the research field of social exclusion, poverty, social policy evaluation and microsimulation. He heads TÁRKI Household Monitor Survey, and co-editor of its report series. He has been involved in numerous international research projects (e.g. I-CUE: 2005-, CHER: 2000-2003), acting as consultant to the World Bank, UNDP and OECD. He also headed working groups on some issues of the national statistical service (HBS, Esspros). Previously he worked for the Hungarian Central Statistical Office in different directorial positions. He graduated at Budapest University of Economics (now Corvinus University), M.Sc in Economics and Sociology (BUE, 1982), Dr. Univ. in Sociology (BUE, 1987).
