Hildigunnur Svavarsdóttir assistant professor, university of Akureyri. Her academic background 1996-1997: M.Sc. in Health Studies (Nursing) at the Glasgow Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland. Graduated on the 26. November 1997. 1988-1992: Faculty of Health at the University of Akureyri. B.Sc. in nursing 13. June 1992.

Hildigunnur Svavarsdóttir research interest is related to all kinds of emergency service. The main emphasis is on resuscitation and all matters of ambulance transport.
