Biography
Professor A. K. Singh (born May 1959) did B.A. (1978), M.A. in Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology (1980), Ph.D. (1986) and M.A. in Museology (1987) from Banaras Hindu University. He joined Jiwaji University as Lecturer on 2nd January 1989 and presently he is Professor and Head of the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archaeology as well Chairman of the Board of Studies.
Research Interest
He is deeply involved in researches, especially in the field of Palaeography, Epigraphy and Numismatics. He has eighty-two research papers, seven books and an edited volume to his credit, while one book and ten papers are under publication.
