Biography

 Played an Important role in establishing Centre for Tourism and Travel Management Studies- (CTTMS) at Jiwaji University, Gwalior. Developed a high precision ‘Quality Control lab’ having sophisticated instruments at Centre for Food Technology, Jiwaji University. Ex- Member ENVIS (SAC), at Ministry of Environment and Forests, New Delhi.Established the Centre for Food Technology at Jiwaji University which imparts M.Sc. Food Technology degree was Coordinator from 2003 to 2012.The centre has been instrumental in placement of approximately 100 students who are employed in various food processing Industries and MNC’s. Very recently M.Phil and Ph.D has also started, in Food Technology. Presently ‘Coordinator’– School of Studies in Microbiology, Jiwaji University, Gwalior.

Research Interest

 Focus on Functional status and phytosociological parameters as an indicator of various ecosystems. Focus on impact of pesticides on Functional parameters of ecosystems. Try to make ecology more interesting and applied - Environmental Economics.
