Biography
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Microsoft Corporation, a global technology company. Amy Hood was appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in July 2013, subsequent to her appointment as Chief Financial Officer in May 2013. She is responsible for leading the worldwide finance organization, including acquisitions, treasury activities, tax planning, accounting and report, and internal audit and investor relations. Prior to this role, Ms. Hood was chief financial officer of Microsoft’s Business Division, responsible for the company’s productivity applications and services including Microsoft Office 365, Office Exchange, SharePoint, and Dynamics. During her time in the Business Division, Ms. Hood helped lead the transition to the company’s Office 365 service, and she was deeply involved in the strategy development and acquisition activities.
