Biography
Dr. SP Arun received his B.Tech degree from IIT Bombay and his MSc and PhD degrees from Johns Hopkins University USA, all in Electrical Engineering. After his postdoctoral work at Carnegie Mellon University, he joined the Centre for Neuroscience at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. He is fascinated by the process by which the brain transforms sensory information into perception.
