Biography
Dr. Prashaant Chaudhry is a Senior consultant ophthalmologist at Aakash Healthcare Eye Hospital and an author of peer reviewed publications in various international journals. He has a special interest in cornea and refractive surgery and has vast experience in treating corneal disorders. He is trained in performing penetrating keratoplasties/ sclerokeratoplasties as well as specialised keratoplasty procedures such as DALK, combined keratoplasty and cataract surgery/ glaucoma valve surgery, limbal stem cell transplantation and endothelial keratoplasty. He has operated thousands of patients of refractive error using LASIK/ PRK/ epiLASIK/ trans-epithelial PRK/ phakic IOL and has special interest in performing customized LASIK treatments such as wavefront guided and topography guided treatments. He also routinely evaluates and operates patients with cataract, glaucoma, ocular trauma and manages medical retinal disorders with lasers and intravitreal injections.
