Biography

Mr. Hemant Behal, Chief People Officer at ABD brings along more than 20 years of experience in Talent Management, Learning & Development, Organization Development, Employee Engagement, Culture Management and strategic HR. He has joined us from Bunge India Pvt. Ltd. where he worked for more than an year as Vice President and Head, Human Resources, responsible for implementing the HR strategies, talent management & development, employee engagement processes and employee relations. Prior to this, he was associated with RPG Group – Mumbai for 6 years, wherein for 4 years he was Senior Vice President Group Human Resources and 2 years with CEAT Ltd. (RPG Enterprise) as Senior Vice President Human Resources. In RPG / CEAT Hemant has managed various stints involving L&OD, talent management , Labour relations, HR strategy and building capabilities in various business. He was also associated with MARS India for 6 years as member of Management team & Head HR and with Ballarpur Industries (BILT) as DGM-HR for 4 years handling 2 factories, mergers and acquisitions, designing and restructuring organization.Additionally he has worked as an HR manager for Apollo International Ltd. and Max Pharma as Senior Assistant Manager. He began his career with Mafatlal group as Plant Personnel Manager. Hemant has completed his B.Sc. from Fergusson College – Pune in year 1991 and Masters in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management –Pune in year 1993.
