Biography
Dr. Amit Garg (Associate Professor) specializes in laser material interaction and Science Education. He has published 55 research papers, 10 books, attended many International conferences abroad, chaired technical session , jury member for INSPIRE programme, reviewer of six international journals and fellow of SPIE, USA. He is the Principal investigator of a Innovative project funded by Delhi University with 5 completed research projects, faculty adviser of SPIE student chapter. He has been awarded Meritorious Teacher’s Award (2012-13) with a cash prize of Rs.1,00,000/- of Directorate of Higher Education, Government of NCT of Delhi, recipient of second Prize of Rs.40000/- by Ministry of Earth Sciences, GOI for his book Tsunami Lahron Ka Kehar with biographical profile published in Who’s Who in the World.
