Biography
Dr. Poonam A. Kant (Reader & Teacher-in-Charge) is the senior most and founder teacher of the department. She is a University gold medalist three times over. Her Field of specialization is endocrinology and her favorite subject area is physiology. She initiated the departmental magazine, Zoological society 'Niche'. She has authored a class XI Biology book.

Reproductive Endocrinology Details of PhD. thesis : Studies on the Opioidergic Regulation of Luteinizing Hormone Secretion and Testicular Steroidogenesis in the male albino rat.
