Biography
Dr.Vandana Uberoi is an inorganic specialist, with special interest in Environmental and Analytical Chemistry. She is a keen and energetic researcher with a long list of paper presentations to her credit at both National and International level. She has just completed a research project funded by U.G.C. as the Principle Investigator where she and her teammates were actively involved in research work related to Environmental issues pertaining to metal ions pollutants in water samples collected across the country. Four undergraduate students successfully completed their summer training projects under the ongoing work. The entire team was able to complete the project with two oral presentations and five poster presentations at both National and International levels. Besides her academic pursuits she has a flair for extra co –curricular activities and has being involved in organizing annual cultural festivals and Annual days from past 9-10 years. Social outreach programmes like N.S.S and Blood donation Camps etc. are very close to her heart and has being motivating students to be involved in such social cause.
