Biography
Protein Biochemist and cell biologist with 24+ year’s experience in academic (India, Canada and USA), government (Canada) and corporate research environments (Dyax Corp, USA and Biocon Ltd (India), with proven track record of successfully leading and managing and developing biotherapeutics for treating or diagnosing different diseases. Has in-depth experience in preclinical development, immunoanalysis, immunogenicity, PK, and CMC assays applied to drug development with excellent understanding of large molecules/biologics/biosimilar drug development. Core strengths include bioanalytical and biomarker assay development, preclinical and clinical PKPD, phage display and developing 3D in vitro blood brain barrier models. Over the last 22 years, authored and co-authored several publications in leading scientific international journals, conferences and book chapters. Also author of more than 10 patent applications and several invention reports. Invited speaker in many of the International Biosimilar and Immunogenicity conferences and also a member of Global Bioanalysis Consortium (GBC) large molecule harmonization teams (L1 and L2) focusing on ligand binding (PK) assays.
