Biography
His present research interest is in breeding grapes for disease resistance and seedlessness and implementation of molecular tools to improve the efficiency of selection. A project on marker assisted selection for seedlessness in table grape breeding is in progress. The main objective of the project is to validate reported markers for seedlessness in Indian seeded and seedless germplasm and verify the usefulness of markers by testing in breeding material. His Education & Scientific Career: Doctoral degree and Post graduate degree in Genetics and Plant Breeding.
