Research Interest

Her research is aimed at generating pre-clinical proof of concept for new strategies for the treatment of human diseases and disorders. Currently, the research is focused on development of nanomedicines for metabolic disorders (viz. diabetes, obesity) and cancer. This includes synthesis and characterization of the nanoparticulate systems, in vitro and in vivo efficacy evaluation, pharmacokinetic profile assessment and toxicity testing.
