Research Interest
My research area is “Hardware Abstraction Based Intrusion Detection System: Security and Implementation Issues in Wireless Network System”. Description: The wireless network is particularly vulnerable due to its features of open medium, dynamic changing topology, cooperative algorithms, lack of centralized monitoring and management point. The traditional way of protecting networks with firewalls and encryption software is no longer sufficient and effective. So, we must include intrusion detection in the security architecture. The goal is to provide administrators with an image of what is happening on their network. So, they will be able to make better decisions and take actions to improve network security.
