Parag Patel

Biography

Prof. Parag Patel considers himself fortunate of having been a member of the core leadership team of HL Institute of Commerce (HLIC) and Ahmedabad University since inception in 1999 and 2009 respectively. It has been a very exciting, joyous and an enriching experience for him to have been able to play a pivotal role in this institution-building and team-building exercise both at Institute and University level. He was selected and sponsored by the Ahmedabad University for a Faculty Development Program to Cambridge University in United Kingdom in the areas of Entrepreneurship, International Management, Business Ethics, Creativity and Business Innovations. Prof. Patel is keenly interested in making a positive difference to Education Sector and has advised a 100 crore education initiative of the financial giant HDFC Ltd as a senior consultant. Apart from academics Prof. Patel has a deep interest in the capital markets in general and equities in particular. He has been featured in 80+ live TV shows as a Market Expert on various national channels.
