Pavak Vyas

Biography

Prof. Pavak Vyas works Assistant Professor in the area of Accountancy and Finance. He has over fifteen years of experience in teaching and research. Apart from teaching Accountancy at the BBA and Integrated MBA prorgramme of Ahmedabad University, he has, as visiting faculty taught at B K School of Management, H L College of Commerce, H L Institute of Commerce to students of M.Com, MBA and B.Com programmes in Ahmedabad. He had been Chairman, Syllabus review and design committee for accountancy for BBA Programme at Gujarat University. He has also been instrumental in designing and developing the Entrepreneurial MBA programme and 5 years Integrated MBA Programme of Ahmedabad University and has served as joint co-ordinator of Entrepreneurial MBA programme for 2009-2010 and Co-ordinator for Integrated MBA programme from 2014-2016. He had been selected to be trained at Cambridge University under faculty development programme of Ahmedabad University. He had been an Academic Visitor, Judge Business School, University of Cambridge for the year 2010. He is also a visiting scholar at Wolfson College, University of Cambridge. He has attended Faculty Development Programme at IIM, Kozhikode and undergone training for Case Method of Teaching organized by Case Center erstwhile European Case Clearing House. Pavak holds an M.Com., M.Phil. (Accountancy) from H. L. College of Commerce Ahmedabad and Ph.D. in finance from Gujarat University. He has several publications in various national and international peer-reviewed Journals and has presented papers in various conferences in India and abroad.
