Biography
Pervin Gandhi is a senior lecturer in the area of finance, accounting and control at Ahmedabad University. She possesses over 11 years of experience in academia and industry. Gandhi is a passionate case writer and has numerous cases registered at The Case Center - ECCH, SAGE Publishing and IVEY Publishing (upcoming). Moreover, she has researched and published papers on asset pricing models, market microstructures, stock market behaviour, emerging issues in accounting and entrepreneurial traits. To hone her teaching and research skills, Gandhi has attended various faculty development programs and workshops. She has also visited Harvard University, National University of Singapore, Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, MICA – The school of ideas and Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi for research and conferences. By qualification, Gandhi is a chartered accountant with an M.Com in accounting from Gujarat University. She is pursuing her Ph.D. in Management from Gujarat University. Currently, she is writing her doctoral thesis on Information Content Analysis of corporate announcements for shareholders’ wealth creation. In her spare time, Gandhi enjoys doing embroidery and learning musical instruments.
