Biography
Shweta Jatav joined School of Engineering and Applied Science as an Assistant Professor in 2017. She graduated in Chemical Engineering from Institute of Engineering and Technology, Lucknow in 2009. Afterwards she pursued M.Tech from IIT Roorkee followed by Ph.D. from IIT Kanpur in Chemical Engineering. Her Ph.D. work was focused on phase behavior of anisotropic shape colloidal clay nanoparticles in aqueous media. During her stay at IIT Kanpur she was also working as Research Associate for industrial projects. Awards 1. The Society of Rheology Travel Grant for the XVIIth International Congress on Rheology (ICR2016), Kyoto, Japan. 2. DST travel grant for 10th Annual European Rheology Conference (AERC- 2015), Nantes, France. 3. Cash award from IIT Kanpur for publication Chemical stability of Laponite in aqueous media. Applied Clay Science, 97–98(0): 72-77.
