Indrajit Singh

Biography

 Professor Singh is a Distinguished University Professor, Sherman Financial Group Endowed Chair and Scientific Director of the Darby Children’s Research Institute at Medical University of South Carolina, Charleston. He served as a faculty member at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine at Baltimore, MD. Professor Singh received his Ph.D. degree from Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa and did postdoctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School at Boston, MA. Prof. Singh has 35 year of experience in pre-clinical and clinical research related to inflammatory/autoimmune and central nervous system diseases. He has published over 270 research papers in peer reviewed journals and was speaker of international and national scientific conference with over 200 presentations.
