Biography
Mr. Paresh Manilal Saraiya serves as the Managing Director of Transpek-Silox Industry Limited, a joint venture Company between Silox S.A., Belgium and the Excel/Transpek Group. Mr. Saraiya began his industrial career with Transpek Industry Limited in 1975 and has over the years held various key positions in the commercial as well as technical functions. He has been an Independent Non-Executive Director at Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited since March 31, 2011. He serves as a Director of Parul Chemicals Ltd., Excel Genetics Limited, Shroffs Engineering Ltd. and Unifab Engineers. He served as a Director of Alembic Ltd. from January 31, 2007 to March 31, 2011. Mr. Saraiya was also the Convener of the Task Force on Chemicals & Dyestuffs constituted by CII, Western Region. Mr. Saraiya is a Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction from the MS University of Vadodara.
